Simple and practical Decluttering and Organizing services in Houston, TX

Certified and trained in the Dana K. White's 5-Step No Mess Decluttering Process, I’m here to help guide you. By following this decluttering process, you will be able to reduce clutter through progress and only progress, creating a more manageable home.
1. Trash Therapy: Start by clearing and removing any visible obvious trash from the space you're working on. This simple step reduces the look of the mess and makes a noticeable difference in your space instantly. What you immediately consider as trash, without even thinking about it, is trash.
2. Put Things in Their Place: Look for items in the space you're working on that already has an established home somewhere else and return them to their rightful spots, right now. It's amazing what a difference this makes to your space, just by putting things that don't belong back where they go.
3. "Duh" Clutter: Sort out anything that is easy to identify as "duh" clutter. You don't have to think about this, go with your gut, no hesitation. Place them in a donation box or bag immediately! This will instantly make your space look bigger as well as bless others and give those items a second life.
4. Ask Decluttering Questions: As you sort through your items, ask yourself if you needed it, where in your house would you look for it, the first thought is where you'd find it, if you went looking for it. Take it there right now. Be mindful of duplicates—would you remember if you already have one if you didn't come across it?
5. Make it Fit: Your space is a container, it can only hold so much. Consolidate your things with "like things". Can it all fit? You may have to limit what the space can hold, if it can't all fit. Reducing the clutter in these spaces will prevent them from becoming overwhelming again and causing a "clutter relapse".
